Beijing is waging an uphill battle to stop party members from indulging in Tibetan Buddhist practices backed by Dalai Lama’s followers. The local government has produced a video exposing local Communist members violating the party regulations on religion, anti-separatism and anti-corruption. The party has repeatedly described the Tibetan leader as a separatist element.
