The extreme cold is causing some school closures in the greater Calgary area this morning. Rocky View Schools announced closures in Airdrie, Beiseker/Kathyrn, Crossfield, Cochrane/Bearspaw/Westbrook, Langdon/Indus, and Springbank/Bragg Creek on Tuesday.
