MONTREAT, N.C. – On Monday night, EJ Bush (SO/Oak Ridge, Tenn.) produced his team-leading eighth double-double of the season on a team-high 21 points while matching Clay Hertel (SR/Louisville, Ky.) with a team-high 10 rebounds apiece, as Hertel also registered a double-double, marking the first of his career. Hertel's 10 boards are a new career best, and he ended with 11 points behind Brandon Thomas (FR/Murfreesboro, Tenn.) who went for 12 points and four rebounds. Keaton Dotson (JR/Gallatin, Tenn.) tied Hertel with 11 points while chipping in five rebounds. The fifth Lion to see double-digits against fellow Appalachian Athletic Conference Montreat College (N.C.) was Isaiah McClain (SO/Harriman, Tenn.) who tallied 10 points and snatched a game-high three steals. Hertel and Luke Janney (JR/Knoxville, Tenn.) led in the assists' column with three, respectively, as Janney also collected three points. AJ Jones (SO/Monroe, Ga.) wrapped up the scoring with two points and a pair of boards.
