Join SABR member Tim Wendel for a talk on the Summer of '68: The Season That Changed Baseball and America Forever at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the San Francisco Main Public Library, 100 Larkin Street in San Francisco. This event is free and for all baseball fans.

1968 has been called "the year that rocked the world," and it rarely showed any mercy. How else to describe a single year in which Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed and weeks later Robert Kennedy met the same fate.  Tim Wendel's book chronicles the extraordinary baseball season of 1968, played out against the backdrop of one of the most divisive and turbulent years in American History.
