Driver of stolen van dies after police chase in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Police in Albuquerque say a stolen van suspect is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after leading officers on a chase in the city's northeast section.

KOB-TV reports that police officers tried to stop the man driving the van about 11 a.m. Saturday.
