Tough mom shot in face by crossbow while protecting kids from violent ‘thief’

Janet Partain was allegedly shot with a crossbow in the face by Joseph Avellino, who was attempting to fire upon Partain's son and nephews. After being shot, Partain drove herself to the hospital with an arrow jutting out of her head.
