[Women's Golf] Swanson garners individual honors

Kelly Swanson (FR/Houston, TX) rose to the occasion Monday at the UHV Claud Jacobs Collegiate Invitational posting a final round 74 to capture the UHV's first individual medalist honor at the event with a two-shot victory.

Swanson, who led the field in par-4 scoring with a 4.25 average and in birdies with seven, started the day two shots back on the leaderboard. She put together a round that included 10 pars and three birdies en route to a two-over par 74 at The Club at Colony Creek.
