VIDEO: Toby Alderweireld reveals the player who has helped him “a lot” at Spurs

Toby Alderweireld has said playing with Jan Vertonghen before the pair teamed up at Tottenham helped him to settle in England.
Speaking to the Premier League, Alderweireld said he thinks he has played more games with Vertonghen than without him throughout his career.
The duo played together at Ajax and for the Belgium national team before becoming a solid centre-back partnership for Spurs.


Alderweireld went on to reveal his favourite Premier League memory – his first goal at White Hart Lane against Manchester City – and heaped praise on Tottenham’s fitness levels.
