EDENWALD, the Bronx — A 27-year-old woman was shot in the back while in the Bronx on Monday evening, police said. She was in a vehicle on Monticello Avenue when she was hit around 6:15 p.m. The woman was taken to Jacobi Hospital. She is not likely to die.
