Mikey Cole was born and raised on the Lower East Side and now he’s adding a lot more sweetness to his neighborhood. He opened up the artisanal ice cream shop, Mikey Likes It, in the East Village in 2013. Last month, Mikey was awarded a $30,000 grant sponsored by Square Space and part of the NY Knicks Make It Awards to support small businesses.
