[Men's Basketball] Stong Second-half pushed the Blue Raiders past Fisk

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball defeats Fisk (Tenn.) 86-81 on Monday evening at Biggers Sports Center.

JR Adams led the Blue Raiders with 25 points, six steals and six assists on the night. Four other Blue Raiders scored double-digits in Kel Stotts with 20 points, Matthew Eldridge with 18 points, Pierre Lys with  11 points and Shakaris Laney with 10 points.

LWC and Fisk traded baskets to an even 6-6 score over the first two minutes of action. Fisk's perimeter shooting eventually pushed the Bulldogs lead to 20-16 with 15 minutes remaining in the first half of action. Fisk continued to grow their lead with their three-point shots, going 6-for-11 in the first ten minutes of play giving the Bulldogs a 29-24 advantage.

The Blue Raiders continued to struggle to find their rhythm through most of the first half shooting 2-of-5 from beyond the arc with less than 10 minutes of play left in the first half. The Bulldogs offense pushed their lead to 8 with 8:30 remaining, to give them a 33-25 lead over LWC.

In the final two minutes of the half, the Blue Raiders began to find their rhythm going on a 6-2 run to cut the Bulldogs lead to 43-36.
