[Men's Basketball] Cornerstone Captures Men's Basketball Championship

Cornerstone won its third consecutive Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Basketball title with a 16-4 conference record. It's the Golden Eagles 11th championship overall, the most of any WHAC school. After losing only two conference games the entire season, the No. 8-ranked Golden Eagles lost two in the month of February before sealing the championship with a win on the final night of the season. Madonna and Indiana Tech tied for second with 15-5 league records. 

With the conference championship for Cornerstone comes the top seed in the upcoming WHAC Tournament and the league's first automatic berth to the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship in Sioux Falls, S.D.
