Sky News host Kieran Gilbert says Labor is slinging mud in the direction of Finance Minister Mathias Cormann after his admission he wasn't charged for flights booked with a company that had won a government contract. The company Helloworld was chosen for a $21 million government tender just weeks before the trip was booked. However, Senator Cormann said he had no influence over the tender process, and says he was not sure why Helloworld did not deduct payment for a flight he booked with them in 2018. Minster Cormann has paid back the fees, saying he wasn't charged for flights due to an 'administrative' mistake. Mr Gilbert says while the error 'isn't a good look', Labor is using the incident to distract the public over its stance on border security.
