JLR wanted to purchase the ground and pay for a new one but the previous greedy owner kept playing how long th could keep upping the bid untill one day they turned there back and walked

Then presumably sold the business for much less. Hmm, the new owners must have stumped up some cash, though. Land there can't be cheap. Cheaper when Land Rover ups sticks I suppose.

I'm glad the club owns the ground, as opposed to Solihull Council etc.
