Two lowlifes Scam 92-year-old Lady

On January 14, 2019 around 1:00 p.m., a 92-year-old female was returning home from running errands, and entered her gated community in San Pedro. After she parked her vehicle, she was immediately confronted by a male and female she did not know, who told the victim that she had collided with their car at a nearby business. The suspects showed the elderly victim their vehicle which did have damage, however the victim did not remember any crash and did not have any damage on her own vehicle.

The male and female suspects convinced the victim that she needed to pay a cash settlement to fix the damage. The male suspect then drove the victim, in victim's vehicle, to a nearby local bank, where they both entered and approached a bank teller. The victim withdrew several thousand dollars in cash, which she gave to the male suspect. The suspect then drove the victim home. Once there, the male and female suspect attempted to convince the victim to allow them into her home, but she refused. After the suspects left, the victim realized she had been scammed and notified the police.
