Heat generated from singed cars in the parking lot of Aero India 2019 spread to the political front with BJP and Congress trading barbs over the incident. With BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje describing the fire accident as a failure of the state government, KPCC chief Dinesh Gundu Rao jumped to the government’s defence stating that the Udupi-Chikkamagalur MP is in the habit of politicising every single event.
