Burnley targeted weakest point in Spurs team to win admits player
Juan Foyth certainly had an afternoon to put behind him yesterday in arguably one of his most difficult displays in a Tottenham Hotspur shirt.
The 21-year-old started the game against Burnley in a back three alongside Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.
Burnley player Jon Walters, who was part of the Sky Sports punditry panel for the game at Turf Moor admitted after the 2-1 victory for his side that Foyth was the weak part of the Spurs side.
Foyth was targeted by the Burnley players both from a physical and pressing perspective and he struggled to play his usual composed game of playing the ball out from the back.
His marking on set pieces also left a lot to be desired considering he was the player who was marking Chris Wood at the corner...
