Chain snaps when trying to remove a car from a frozen river

On the night of Sunday, February 24, in the resort town of Belokurikha, located in the Altai Territory, a traffic accident occurred and the unsuccessful "rescue operation" that followed.

According to local media , police tried to stop the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 car whose driver decided to hide from law enforcement. As a result, the man lost control and the SUV crashed from the bridge, being on the ice in the Belokurikha river.

The offender and his passenger were not injured - DPS officers helped them to get out of the vehicle.

After that, the workers tried to remove the SUV. They managed to lift the car with a crane, but the cable could not stand it and the Land Cruiser fell back onto the ice and fell over onto the roof.
