Man pleads guilty to stabbing roommate

NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut man who police say fatally stabbed his roommate during an argument over rent has pleaded guilty.

The Day reports 45-year-old Patrick McInerney entered his plea Wednesday to a reduced charge of first-degree manslaughter.
