The afternoon session will explore Statcast data which provides detailed pitch-by-pitch data including off-the-bat measures such as launch angle, exit velocity, and spray angle.
SABR member and Bowling Green State University professor Jim Albert, and Mercyhurst University professor Chad Redmond will be presenting. Both instructors are experienced in teaching data science programming using baseball data.
