Former Spurs captain named as manager of London rivals

Fulham have officially announced that former Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker will take over as caretaker manager of the club until the end of the season after they decided to part ways with Claudio Ranieri after just three months in charge of the club.

Parker served as the club’s assistant coach under Ranieri as well as Slavisa Jokanovic before him, and the club have decided to turn to him to try and pull off a remarkable rescue act.

Fulham now find themselves in 19th spot, 10 points behind safety and would need a minor miracle to stay alive.
