Car Advice

Following in from a leasing thread a few months ago, I’ve decided to buy a used car for roughly the same price as leasing one, but at the end of the contract it’s mine rather than having to hand it back.

For the same money I was going pay out on a lease I’ve got my eye on a very nice top of the line Qashqai, 65 plate so just over 3 years old, only 19k on the clock and all of the tech that I’ll ever need. It also has a very nice full length panoramic sunroof which really sold it to me. This is the most expensive car I’m looking at, at just over £12k.

My other options are:
a BMW 1 series coupe, the one with a boot rather than a hatch. Slightly too small for me but it was nice.
A Vauxhall Mokka, which is nice inside but is hairdresser central outside
Renault Captur, see above.
Vauxhall Astra, I wanted something bigger really, but was very nice inside and is good value IMO

I’m a tall chap, so I struggled fitting into much properly in 3 hours walking round a large dealership.

Can anybody recommend anything to look at, or offer any advice either way on the Qashqai as I was very close on pulling the trigger this morning.
