I'm a Magic Homer and I'm now willing to say this is mostly he and Robs fault

I am a Magic Johnson Homer.
The first Laker game I remember watching is game 6 in the finals against Philly in 1980, I was 5.

I grew up a huge Magic Laker fan, worked his camp, coached his son and nephews, played on his team in that camp I did and I just love the guy.

All season I have been looking elsewhere to assign blame for this mess. Luke's odd rotations and lack of offensive plays, the adjustment to LBJ period, the injuries, the vets; but now I gotta say I put 50% the blame on Maginka because of the poor roster construction, and the AD mess caused that this.

First let me just say I was heartbroken about losing Randle and Lopez, but really Randle. I loved that guy and I've been saying it for years, just look at my past posts. He was our best player for the last 3 years and to think we could have him on the team instead of KCP, who is just and older Hart, is infuriating. The DLO trade made me mad but there was drama there plus we got rid of Mozzy contract. The JC trade made financial sense but its not like we resigned IT and I liked JC. But there was just no excuse to not resign Randle. And Lopez, wtf, really? He only wanted the veterans minimum. Just stupid!

Then there is the summer signings. Rondo makes sense and he helped ZO, and if we hold on to that future all defensive team, all star, glue guy; Rondo will pay off, heck I'll take him back next year for the vets min. And Javale has been good, so many are hating but he has played good, look at his power rankings vs. time on the court, usage % and you will see a good player, but not a 36 minute a game center. KCP? Really a $12 million a year Josh Hart? We had to get a better version of him in Bullock, who I like, to make up for that blunder. Lance? He has been better than expected but not a good pick to fill that roster space. And Beez was just throwing money and a roster space away. He never fit with this team.

And then Maginka refused to sign anyone off the buyout market before Friday when they could've played with us if we made the playoffs? Really? Marcin Gortat is way better back up than Chandler! Way better! Tim Frazier is way better back up pg then ACFRESH? Really? Hell I'll take Melo just for fun and some offense off the bench. Did they give up? FU! Just quit then!
