Pochettino reveals how Spurs must progress to the next stage of the Champions League

Tottenham will take on Borussia Dortmund at the Westfalenstadion later this evening knowing that if they manage to hold onto their lead, they will have a place booked in the last 8 of the Champions League.

The last time Spurs qualified for the quarter-final of the tournament was back in 2011 when they played Real Madrid after beating AC Milan 1-0 over two legs in the round of 16.

With Tottenham’s title hopes coming to an end last week as Spurs failed to win any of their last three Premier League games against Burnley, Chelsea and Arsenal, the Champions League represents Spurs’ only chance of landing some silverware this season.
