Nigerian chef narrates struggles during pregnancy, says she had fibroid and had to do surgery after delivery (photos)

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to share the story of her emotional pregnancy period and all the struggles she went through. The chef explained that she had fibroid while she was eight months pregnant.
The chef, known as Chefikky, explained that her baby that was eight months at the time was weighing 1.8kg and she also had fibroid that was six centimeters.
According to her, she had sleepless nights and series of pains. She had revealed that she visited more than three hospitals for solution.

Chefikky explained that many doctors told her that they could not take the fibroid out while she was still pregnant. The chef further noted that they finally met a doctor who said he could do the surgery.
The doctor had asked them two get two bags of blood ready for the surgery. The chef revealed that she had been awake for the procedure that took seven hours, and she was given epidural anaesthetic to stop her from feeling pains.

According to her, the baby was born 20 minutes into surgery. She expressed that the moment was magical and all she could hear was her baby's voice.
She said her fibroid was removed successfully, but a major artery had cut during her surgery. However, the doctors were able to put a stop to it.
Chefikky also revealed that her baby was not breathing well after he was born and was taken to another hospital where he was treated. She explained that she was not beside him because she was placed on an heart monitor.

The woman, who was excited that despite everything she went through, she, her son and husband are happy, explained that she shared her story to motivate someone.
On her Instagram post, the chef also thanked other chefs and entrepreneurs who stood by her side when she went through all she did.
