Liverpool to make late decision over injured 25-year-old as he steps up recovery - report

Liverpool are set to make a late decision on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s proposed comeback from injury, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The 25-year-old has been out of action since last April with a cruciate ligament injury, and had been expected to make his return to the fold in Friday’s U23 clash with Derby County.

It is now understood, however, that the Reds will wait until closer the match to give a definite green light on any decision regarding his inclusion.
