Trade Lebron!!!

I have to admit, I was pumped when we got LBJ this summer. Last season was fun to watch and LBJ was going to make it even better. Then I watched Julius get thrown away like trash. I didn't like it, especially because he didn't get the max, but was willing to take a few lumps for the Lebron experiment. Then I saw Magic/Pelinka sign Lance, Beasley, McGee and was thinking Randle was better than all of them. This season proved my opinion valid. Julius is having a great year and Beasley is gone, Lance has been ineffective, and Rondo, while still being of some value, is a defensive sieve. They could have had Randle for a lot less. I don't know what they said to B. Lopez cause it seems like he Hates the Lakers now. At 3.5M this year, he represents a better option than McGee and Chandler. I was thinking Lopez and Randle would go forward as our big and small ball centers with Lopez starting and Randle backing him up and taking up the majority of the playing time. Randle, Kuz, J. Hart, as a bench unit would have been exciting to watch. Head scratching and doubt began sinking in at that point.

Then the season came, the injuries, the drama, and now we're most likely going to see our season end again too early. I did not enjoy this season like I did the last and it looks like Magic/Pelinka are going to do something ass backwards for "The Queen" this summer. All of the sudden, I'm thinking the Lakers are in for another decade of rebuilding because I have no confidence in our front office anymore and I don't believe any star wants to really be a part of this shit show. The only guy that wants in is A. Davis and he's coming from a worse situation. You know the story...Now Jeanie Buss stumbles and calls everything "fake news". Everyone and their mama knows she is full of shit now that she called it "fake news" and that she believes Magic got in front of it and is back on the right track. To think this team is on the right track just demonstrates the level of delusion going on in that front office.

So it's come to this: I want Jeanie Buss to just pay the bills and stay AWAY from basketball operations. Magic needs to become something else besides what he's already doing. Perhaps move him up further and call him a "Special Consultant to the Owner" and get him out of basketball operations too. Then the younger Buss, Jesse, and the younger West can take over basketball operations with a new GM. I am a fan of Luke Walton because of his ability to connect with players but I do believe he needs more experience in his staff. Luke's offense can score in bunches, that doesn't seem to be a problem. He needs a defensive coordinator. I'd love to see Tom Thibodeau as the lead assistant coach but that's highly unlikely.

More importantly: trade Lebron. Where? How about Portland. I'll take Lillard and McCollum and a first rounder or two. How about the Celtics for Brown, Tatum, Morris and a first rounder or two. In this case, I'd give them Lebron AND Lonzo. How about the 76ers for Ben Simmons, Butler/T. Harris, and some draft picks. I'd also take a package from Dallas that includes Doncic and Porzingis. Hell, trade him straight up for Giannis! He can follow can follow Kareem's career arc and excel in LA as a big man for the Lakers.

I am so over the drama that follows Lebron, I would be willing to see him go and hope the drama goes with him. Am I crazy, or would anyone else trade Lebron?
