Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is confident his side have what it takes to book a quarter-final place in the Champions League.

United will face Paris Saint-Germain in a defining second leg clash in France on Wednesday, March 6.

The Premier League side will be seeking to overturn a 2-0 goal deficit suffered in the first leg of the round of 16 fixture played at Old Trafford.

Ahead of the tricky encounter, Solskjaer has advised his wards to score first to down the French giants.

“Football is a mental game. Goals always change games and if we get the first one we will be believing - and maybe they (PSG) might start doubting themselves," he was quoted saying.
"It's never mission impossible. It will be difficult but anything can happen," he added.

The Norwegian tactician observed that United taking an early lead would dent PSG's confidence.

He further stated absence of pressure on United could work in his side's favour as they are now regarded underdogs.

Meanwhile, the interim manager is facing a squad selection dilemma as he is without up to 10 first team players.

Paul Pogba is currently suspended for the fixture, with Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata nursing different degrees of injuries.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League giants Manchester United appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjær as their new manager until the end of the ongoing 2018/19 Premier League season.

The 45-year-old Norwegian football manager replaces former manager Jose Mourinho who was thrown out of the club because of poor results.

He was joined by Mike Phelan as first-team coach, together with Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna this season at Old Trafford.
