Suspicious packages have been found at the British parliament and two universities a day after the discovery of three parcel bombs at transport hubs across London. Parcels were found at the University of Glasgow, the University of Essex in Colchester and the House of Lords in the British parliament. Police have since deemed the items to be safe but had urged the public to avoid the targeted sites. It is unclear if the recent spate of suspicious parcels are linked to the small packages sent to Waterloo Station, Heathrow Airport and London City Airport.
