Man arrested after pointing a gun at officers
This weekend, deputies responded to a call about a man firing a gun at a vehicle on Tatum Boulevard, New Smyrna Beach.
After deputies were able to take him into custody, defendant Michael Ferranda explained he was ripped off while buying crack cocaine from a drug dealer, so he fired a warning shot.
Ferranda was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon/ammo by a convicted felon and discharging a weapon in public{{file|t=uFjHZ_1552336171}}
