Strong winds and heavy rain hit the Scottish coast on March 12 as Storm Gareth moved east. This footage shows waves hitting a wharf overlooking the Clyde in Helensburgh. A yellow weather warning, predicting gusts of up to 50 to 65 miles per hour and flooding in low-lying areas, was issued for England, Wales and several regions along the southwest coast of Scotland, the Helensburgh Advertiser reported.
