[Men's Golf] #8-Ranked Point Men's Golf Wins Skyhawk Invitational by 7 Strokes

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- The Point University men's golf team, coached by Steven Paine (fifth season) and ranked number eight in the NAIA National Top 25 Coaches' poll and number nine in the Bushnell Golfweek NAIA Coaches Poll, finished first among 14 NAIA programs with a 54-hole total of 880 strokes (+16) at the Point University Skyhawk Invitational, March 11-12, at Callaway Gardens Golf Club in Pine Mountain, Ga.  The Skyhawks have won three events this season and have placed no lower than fourth in any of their nine competitions during the combined fall and spring 2018-19 seasons.  Point plays next March 13-15 at the Robert Trent Jones National Golf Course in Opelika, Ala.
