Firefighters in Spain battled to extinguish a giant fire that broke out at an industrial facility in Alcorcon, outside Madrid, on March 12. According to footage published by 112 Community Madrid (Madrid’s Emergency and Security Agency), about 200 tons of pressed paper, wood, plastic and cardboard burned at a recycling center near a shopping mall. Six firefighters were treated for mild heatstroke while putting out the fire, according to 112 Community Madrid.
