Report: Levy tried to sign Bale on loan; it did not work

It’s been dismissed as fantasy in serious corners, largely because Bale earns the GDP of a small island nation each year; but that apparently hasn’t stopped Daniel Levy from trying.

According to Guillem Balague, the Spurs chairman submitted a bid so cheeky it didn’t even warrant a response from Real.
