Former Spur fears star players will soon leave to win trophies
Former Tottenham Hotspur player Paul Stewart fears that the current crop of star players could leave the club in a quest for silverware.
Tottenham have not won a major piece of silverware since last lifting the League Cup in 2008 following an extra-time win against Chelsea.
While the club has come close to challenging for the Premier League title in recent seasons, the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli are yet to win any silverware.
Spurs had a chance of rivaling Liverpool and Manchester City for the title this season, but after only picking up a single point from a maximum of twelve available, they are instead fighting for a place in the top four.
