Cory Ritterbusch: "Baseball History in the Tri-State Area" (Galena, IL)

SABR member Cory Ritterbusch will discuss baseball history in the Tri-State area at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Galena Middle School, 1230 Franklin St. in Galena, Illinois.

All baseball fans are welcome to attend this free event. The presentation will come ahead of a regional baseball exhibit opening March 30 at the Galena & U.S. Grant Museum, hosted by  the Galena-Jo Daviess County Historical Society.

Ritterbusch will discuss baseball history in the tri-state area as well as the Rockford Peaches of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, which was memorialized in the 1992 movie A League of Their Own.

Ritterbusch is an author who spoke about Hall of Famer and Brooklyn Dodgers captain Pee Wee Reese on SABR Day in Louisville, Kentucky, earlier this year.
