Need Confirmation>>>Start Nut install for 2018 Giant TCR Adv. Pro headset

What's up guys.
Just got this 2018 Giant TCR Adv. Pro frameset
in today and got a little careless when removing the fork.

The nut that screws on the bottom part of the bolt (pictured below)
dropped down into the headset and now not sure
if I need to have this nut in the top or middle portion
of the sleeve adapter.

Do I need to hammer this into the middle portion of
the sleeve? Because, I could not screw this tight that
would allow it to center in. The metal sleeve just spins
around when trying to do this.

Any advise would be great! really don't wanna break
anything and get into a jackpot.
