Coronation Street spoiler: Chesney comes to Gemma’s rescue when he sees her sobbing on the street ahead of quadruplets story
CORONATION Street’s Chesney Brown will come to Gemma Winter’s rescue next week after he picks her up off the street.
In upcoming scenes Gemma, played by Dolly-Anne Campbell can be seen out on the street with her bags, which leads fans to question how the kebab shop worker got there in the first place.
In recent images, the character was pictured wearing the same clothes as she sat on a park bench alongside her brother Paul (Peter Ash) and although it seems that she avoided death from the factory collapse it is still unknown whether it is an argument with Chesney that could have left her homeless.
But as Gemma sits on the side of the street with her belongings it looks like all could be forgiven as the red haired lad comes to her rescue in a gold Volvo.
After talking it through the expectant young mum appears to get into Chesney’s car, taking her bags with her.
Since getting into a relationship the young couple haven’t had the easiest ride, with their recent trip away in the caravan proving to be a mucky affair.
Shacking up in a caravan, their plans went awry when Gemma fell asleep, only to wake up and realise their mobile home was being towed away by the owners of the campsite.
And the hilarity continued for the duo when Chesney got covered in cow muck as their car got stuck in the mud.
The comedic scenes are all building up towards the big moment when Gemma finds out she is pregnant later in the year.
The storyline certainly shows the fun is being restored to Corrie after dark periods involving murders and kidnapping.

In January The Sun’s Bizarre column revealed kebab shop worker Gemma will get pregnant after a night of passion with Chesney— and they will be expecting quadruplets.
A Corrie source said: “The show’s new boss, Iain MacLeod, is keen to inject a bit of old-fashioned humour into Coronation Street like in the years gone by and this storyline will have viewers in stitches.
“Gemma doesn’t miss a trick and instantly thinks of ways she can make some dosh out of her and Chesney’s unexpected news.”
