Ad-block...
Had trouble viewing threads here lately, click on a thread and get a blank page. Never had that problem before.
Suspecting it was an ad-block problem I suspended it, and sure enough I was able to once again view threads. So as this is a site I visit (and enjoy very much) though fairly seldom, and as I'm a lurker more than a contributor, do I cave to the ads? Or do I stand my ground and just stop reading?
I do not want to deal with the invasion of ads in my web browsing. I feel that is MY choice to make. If this forum (amongst more and more other sites) thinks I need to endure their ads to continue enjoying reading here, then it's no longer enjoyable and I'll say goodbye. Not a huge loss to the forum by any means, but I will not endure being dictated to by google, which bombards ads I don't care to see while I'm browsing here.
