Darren Till charges UFC rival Ben Askren before security drag him away
DARREN TILL charged on stage to confront UFC rival Ben Askren before he was dragged away by security.
American star Askren has flown to London for a ringside seat at Saturday’s showdown between Till and Jorge Masvidal.
SunSport exclusively revealed that Askren, 34, wants his chance to take on Till, 26, after UFC London.
And the two fighters finally crossed paths at the weigh-in after weeks of trash talk on social media.
Askren, who boasts a record of 19-0, caused a stir during a question and answer session with fans at the arena.
He said: “I don’t think I want to do it. I want to fight Darren Till. He’s right back here.”
The crowd booed, before the native Liverpudlian appeared from back stage and with his middle fingers raised.
He was dragged off the stage by security after he appeared to yell: “F*** Ben Askren!”.
Askren then joined in with the crowd as they loudly chanted “Dar-ren till! Dar-ren Till!”.
According to MMAfighting.com, after the altercation Till said: “Askren’s fight comes, but Askren’s been in the UFC five minutes. It’s not about what he wants.

“It’s about what I want. I’m here, No3, seventh fight and fourth main event.
“I call the shots, not Ben. And the champ will be calling the shots, so we’ll see.
“I know the champ wants to fight me. I’ve spoken about it with him face-to-face.
“So, all goes well for me Saturday, I’m praying and hoping, and then I want to campaign for that title shot.”
