He said: “When I was a child I was an Arsenal fan.
“I loved the style of Wenger and I admired players like Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.”
The Pole was reportedly a transfer target for West Ham before his January switch from Genoa but would have preferred interest from North London rather than East.

Piatek notched an impressive 19 goals from 21 appearances for Genoa and has repaid Milan‘s faith with eight in nine since his switch.
The Rossoneri paid £30million to bring him to the San Siro and if Arsenal were to break the bank to bring him to London, his famous celebration would almost certainly come with him.
The front man’s gun-firing celebration has seen him dubbed “Il Pistolero” in Italy and it’s not something he plans to change any time soon.
He said: “My celebration? I did that after I scored a goal once and from that moment it remained the same.
