Delhi Police busted an inter-state ammunition supply racket on Saturday and arrested one person with a huge cache of ammunition including 2000 live cartridges.Rs 25,000 was also recovered from him.The police apprehended the accused Amarlal when he arrived in a white Eon car to deliver a huge cache of ammunition. A total of 1000 live cartridges of .32 pistol and 1000 live cartridges of .315 were recovered from his possession.Earlier, a special team of police arrested two arms suppliers under section 25 of Arms Act, PS Crime Branch and recovered 28 sophisticated pistols. The team carried out search operations in the states of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh."These arms/ammunition were being supplied to the gangsters as well as criminals of Delhi/NCR on payment basis," the police said.According to police, 62-year-old Amarlal hails from Fazilka, Punjab.
