Coronation Street star Dan Brocklebank wins All Star Musical trophy as viewers hail it ‘outstanding’

CORRIE star Dan Brocklebank beat stiff competition from the likes of Joel Dommett, London Hughes and Amy Walsh with his rendition of From Now On from The Greatest Showman.

The actor was the standout singer of the night as viewers and judges were blown away by his performance.

Showcasing performances from comedians London Hughes and Joel Dommett, Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh, money expert Martin Lewis and presenter Alan Titchmarsh.

Presented by Doctor Who star John Barrowman, the all star cast were mentored by theatre legend Elaine Paige, and judged by Strictly’s Kevin Clifton, Wicked star Kristin Chenoworth and Trevor Dion Nicholas.

While some of the contestants were better than others, Coronation Street actor Daniel Brocklebank stunned viewers with his chosen song.

The on-screen vicar performed From Now On from The Greatest Showman, alongside an ensemble of dancers.

Almost instantly Twitter erupted with fans commenting about how good the actor was.

One wrote: “@Dan_Brocklebank why haven’t we heard that gorgeous voice of yours before? #oustanding #AllStarMusicals”

Another said: “@Dan_Brocklebank well done Daniel on winning #AllStarMusicals absolutely breathtaking performance.”

While a third added: “@Dan_Brocklebank utterly sensational performance tonight #AllStarMusicals – well deserved winner!”

The judges were equally blown away and suggested Daniel pursue a career in musical theatre.
