Tottenham lend their name to improved transport link

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that their new 62,062 capacity stadium will host Premier League and Champions League matches from the beginning of April, subject to being issued a safety certificate after the successful completion of two test events which will take place later this month.

Tottenham’s first game at the state of the art facility will be a midweek Premier League match against Crystal Palace on 3rd April.

Apart from the stadium, the club has also invested in the redevelopment of the area as they have also helped construct a 180-bed hotel, a large Sainsbury’s supermarket, a new sixth-form college, 256 new homes officially classed as “affordable” and a new primary school.
