[Golf] GOLF: Eagle Women Dominate ERAU Spring Invite

ERAU SPRING INVITATIONAL, at Antelope Hills South GC in Prescott, Ariz.

After two dominating rounds on the first two days of the event, No. 18 ERAU secured the trophy by averaging under 300 in all three rounds, 290-299-305.  At least one Eagle was at the top or in second in all six major statistical categories as ERAU averaged a score of 75.2 while the rest of the field averaged 83.9.  Jessica Williams had to fight off her teammates in the final round to claim top honors, holding off four Eagles who finished right behind her in the individual standings.  Williams was in the top three in all six statistics measured by GolfStat.  Kendall McBean and Elle Carlson were neck and neck all tournament long and finished in a tie for second at 226.  Carlson finished with the most birdies in the tournament (8) while McBean did her thing by notching the most pars (41).  Megan Hessil and Nicole Lopes tied for 4th on the final day.  Soka University of America came in fourth in the four-team event with Kaitlyn Haibel carding the best score among the Lady Lions.
