So, I've just been sent a reminder that the domain is up for renewal in the next 2 weeks. It was quite some time ago I asked you to take on the site, but no one stepped forward, then I got busy at life again and didn't get back to this. It's now time for the next annual domain renewal and a quick look at the stats shows just ten users have been on here this year. I'm sad to say it's time for me to relinquish responsibility for providing a home to a forum I've not been on for about 3 years myself.
I'm not saying it's all over for J-Net, but If you want this to continue, you need to find a host, agree how you'll pay for it, who'll administer it, and make a request to take the domain name over. Once upon a time your only option (to meet digitally to discuss Hearts) was a place like this, but honestly, you could have a free WhatsApp group that'll serve the same purpose at this. The QPR fans I used to play for (like real maroon) have long since abandoned their equivalent.
I’ve cancelled the automatic renewal. You have until the 9th then the web address will stop working. You can either transfer before then, or wait until then and move it to somewhere you have ready. I can supply a copy of the database, so you can keep your old posts, but maybe it's time to move somewhere new...?
