Rivo Kundimang to fight for minor IBF title in April!
Earlier today Indonesian website rondeaktual.com revealed that unbeaten Indonesian prospect Rivo Kundimang (8-0-1, 4) would be back in the ring on April 6th in his next bout.
Sadly whilst the date of his next bout was revealed, as was the fact he will be fighting for an IBF Intercontinental title, there was little else that seemed to be set in stone.
For example the bout could be either 10 or 12 rounds, and will be against a Filipino, who has yet to be publicly named. Despite the fact the bout is less than 2 weeks away.
For those who haven't seen Kundimang before the 22 year old southpaw, who fights at 130lbs, has won his last 8 after a draw on debut against the much more experienced Geisler AP. He has a pretty fun style and is a good looking kid with a lot of potential. That potential will however need to be nurtured, and that is typically where Indonesian fighters are sadly falling short. Fingers crossed his opponent in April will be named shortly, and he will be tested sooner, rather than later.
