Gatineau man facing attempted murder, harassment charges
A Gatineau man has been charged with attempted murder, criminal harassment and uttering death threats in connection with an incident early Wednesday that left a woman in hospital with serious injuries.
Gatineau police went to a residence on Davidson Street West in Gatineau at the request of paramedics early Wednesday morning.
They found an injured woman, in her forties, who was transported to Hull Hospital for treatment. She is in stable condition.
Police arrested a man in his fifties at the scene.
He appeared in court Wednesday. Police are continuing their investigation.
