Despite a championship ring and back-to-back World Series appearances, manager Ned Yost has always been a polarizing figure in Kansas City. Some were surprised he has stayed on through a rebuild process, but in many ways he seems looser than ever before. Rustin Dodd at The Athletic had a terrific profile recently of the cantankerous Yost and his verbal spars with reporters.
