Watch shocking moment cycling star flies off bike in horror crash breaking two bones as spectator ‘laughs’

THIS is the shocking moment a spectator laughs at a cyclist’s sickening crash – and threatens to steal the bike while the rider lies in pain with two broken bones.

Racer Domingos Goncalves’ misfortune only started when he lost control at high-speed on a sharp bend and toppled off his bike.

A “fan” rushed over to video the aftermath of the accident and even leant over to get close-ups as the prone Goncalves can barely move his body.

Social media labelled the spectator an “idiot” following the shameful saga near the end of the first stage in the Volta a Catalunya race held in Catalonia.

Caja Rural-Seguros star Goncalves had been desperately trying to catch up with the peloton when he slid over and looked in obvious distress.

Local media said the Portugal rider broke his collarbone and shoulder blade in the fall – injuries which are expected to keep him out for two months

But a man from behind the roadside barrier could be heard laughing as he headed towards the 30-year-old before bending over to video the biker’s face and down his body.

The spectator even joked he was going to “rob” Goncalves of his bike.

And only after that did he ask the rider if he was OK.

The fan’s actions were fiercely condemned by other cycling enthusiasts online.

One user wrote: “My absolute contempt goes out to this idiot.”

Another added: “He deserves a harsh sanction to wipe the smile off his face and get rid of his despicable behaviour.”

And one said: “Karma will put this useless idiot in his place.”
